PRODUCT INFORMATION

THE MESH:

Our mesh is manufactured directly by us, an Australian company with over 30 years of experience in the gutter guard industry. The mesh is available in a wide-range of Colorbond colours and is powder coated by AzkoNobel with the highest-grade of powder coating available on the market. We use the latest technology of powder coating, the AkzoNobel Interpon D1010 Premium Powder Coating, whereas most other companies use a lower-grade AkzoNobel Interpon D610 powder coating. This is a thinner, cheaper powder coating which can shorten the life of the mesh, and cause it rip and tear easily.

The mesh has been both salt for Australian conditions by AkzoNobel, and fire tested by the CSIRO for fire resistance. The test from the CSIRO has found the flammability index on the mesh to be "0". which means it doesn't not burn or melt in a fire. The mesh also adheres to all required standards to be used as a gutter guard in all Bushfire Attack Levels. BAL-12.5, BAL-19, BAL-29, BAL-40, BAL-FZ

GGD2U Expanded Expanded Mesh

Hole Size: 3mm X 4mm

Thickness: 1mm

Uses: Gutter Guard, Bird Proofing

Coating: AkzoNobel D1010 Premium

Premium GGD2U Woven Aluminium EmberGuard

Hole Size: 2mm X 2mm

Thickness: 1mm

Uses: Gutter Guard, Bird Proofing, EmberGuard (up to BAL-40)

Coating: AkzoNobel D1010 Premium

(Coming Soon) Premium GGD2U Stainless Steel SS316 EmberGuard

Hole Size: 1.8mm X 1.8mm

Thickness: 1mm

Uses: STRONG Gutter Guard, Bird Proofing, EmberGuard (ALL BAL ZONES)

Coating: AkzoNobel D1010 Premium

Steel Grade: Marine Grade Stainless Steel 316

THE SADDLES & TRIMS:

Made from strong 0.55mm steel, Both our Corrugated Iron, TrimDek saddles, and Trims are made using steel.

Clips/Saddles and Trims is the best way to secure the mesh to most iron roofs, and are available in every current Colorbond colour.

Our trims are made from coil rolled steel sheeting and are 10mm X 15mm, which forms a 90º angle, and come in 1 metre lengths.

If you have unique concealed or box gutter we have a 10mm X 15mm open angle / flat trim with a 15º angle, and come in approximately 900mm lengths.

We support small Australian businesses, our saddles/clips, and trims are produced by a small family company in based Brisbane, Australia.

THE SCREWS:

We use only the best screws supplied from an local Australian Melbourne-based company, Tri-Fixx. These 8-18 X 15mm SDS, Hex, Class 3 - Self-Drilling screws are galvanized right here in Melbourne by Tri-Fixx, and and the hex heads are also powder coated (right here in Melbourne) in the full Colorbond Range
